He achieved this first during his tenure in the Air Force and later as a web designer, branding specialist, and creative director. Now, Christopher Houck dedicates his life to helping other people grow their own opportunities and strengthen their brands, accordingly.

For Christopher Houck, his earliest experiences in the field of art and graphic design date back to his childhood when he was an avid drawer. His young fascination with art, creativity and the world around him has helped inspire a strong love for design, and this has remained with him ever since.
Despite his lifelong love for creativity, it’s safe to say that everyone has to start somewhere – and this happened during his military tenure. While working in the forces, he discovered an early love for web design and multimedia. He would then go on to hone this experience and passion under the guidance of the late Perry House, a much-loved painter whose excellent work helped make him widely renowned internationally.
Later he partnered with Majestic Marketing DBA, a company who provided marketing services to pharmaceuticals in the state of Texas. This experience gave Christopher the opportunity to evolve his design into marketing material.
Christopher Houck also earned a BA in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute. This would provide him with the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to work in such a demanding role – something he pulls off incredibly successfully. Upon graduation, he won best Web Design in the 2012 AI Portfolio Review.
After discovering his love and aptitude for web design and branding, Christopher Houck set out to really grow and strengthen his new career. With this thought in mind, he rapidly became one of the most widely known local providers of quality branding solutions in the Houston Area.
Mellowdesigner was launched in 2010. In 2016 he began diversifying into numerous other aspects of design and multimedia which formulated a partnership with Jeremy Tucker in the creation of a multimedia company Filmcology, his second business.
During his time in the industry, Christopher has worked for major companies and small businesses, helping to deliver new value and opportunities to each company. As such, he’s passionate about helping others grow their own businesses and strives to achieve ever-greater success for himself and his clients.
